BrowserMedia is pleased to launch a new site for The Chevy Chase Land Company

BETHESDA, MD (May 17TH, 2012) -- BrowserMedia is pleased to launch a new site for The Chevy Chase Land Company's (CCLC), viewable at http://www.cclandco.com.

“It has been a pleasure to work with BrowserMedia on the development of our new site. They listened to our needs from the beginning of the process, and developed a website that is very consistent with our corporate brand” said Lisa Fadden, Vice-President of Public Affairs for The Chevy Chase Land Company.

The Chevy Chase Land Company of Montgomery County, Maryland is a 122-year-old development and property management company located in Chevy Chase, Maryland. The Company is distinguished by its historic background and by its ongoing commitment as a long term land holder that provides high quality management of its own properties. The Chevy Chase Land Company is intertwined with the history of Chevy Chase and is a proud member of the local community.

The new CCLC site is powered by the customizable BrowserCMS (an open source Ruby on Rails content management system) that incorporates easy content sharing, rapid publishing, and cross promotion of items across the CCLC website. The new streamlined site architecture and clean layout helps CCLC give their users and clients a much improved web presence to access their content with, as well as making it easier for them to update the content on the site.

Some of the custom features we developed for this include member protected sections for shareholders and board members (two separate sections), news modules that display recent news items across multiple categories speaking to multiple audiences, as well as property listing and detail pages showing unique content for each property. Overall the new site makes it easy for users to find the content they are looking for, as well as be able to discover content they might not have known they were looking for, but is still relevant to them.
