BrowserMedia is proud to launch a new site for Bernstein Management Corporation
BETHESDA, MD (March 15, 2012) -- BrowserMedia is proud to launch a new site for Bernstein Management Corporation (BMC), viewable at http://www.bmcproperties.com.
The new BMC site is powered by the customizable BrowserCMS (an open source Ruby on Rails content management system) that incorporates easy content sharing, rapid publishing, and cross promotion of items across the BMC website. The new streamlined site architecture and clean layout helps BMC give their users and tenants a much improved web presence to access their content with, as well as making it easier for them to update the content on the site.
Some of the custom features we developed for this include an updated logo for a more modern feel, increased usability of the Residential side of the BMC business, a streamlined residential and commercial property search feature, integration of Google maps and custom designed maps to feature locations as well as Walkscore plugin, re-organized property detail pages to show overview information for easy scanning with more detailed information for floorplans and implemented a photo gallery for each property, custom backend content for easy updating of all sections of the site including the commercial and residential properties. Overall the new site makes it easy for users to find the content they are looking for, as well as be able to discover content they might not have known they were looking for, but is still relevant to them.
We are also developing a mobile optimized version of their site (using the new BrowserCMS Mobile Module). We configured the Mobile Module and templates for this site to be as simple to use and as easy as possible to get to the property detail pages a user wants to, with as few steps as possible. We also added in Geolocation to be able to locate your position on a Google Map and show the BMC properties closest to you. This module enables the site to reuse existing content and display it in mobile-friendly templates that are fast-to-load and easy-to-use.
