U.S. Grains Council
Overview
The U.S. Grains Council is a private, non-profit corporation that works with producer organizations and agribusinesses to ensure that U.S. agriculture is profitable by developing export markets for domestic barley, corn and grain. Founded in 1960, the U.S. Grains Council now has 10 international offices and programs in more than 50 countries. Its unique membership matches market development funds from the U.S. government with cooperating groups in foreign countries to cultivate a more than $25 million annual program. The Challenge
Help the U.S. Grains Council communicate its mission.

From day one, the U.S. Grain Council has believed that exports are essential to both global economic development and the profitability of U.S. agriculture. Many customers in countries around the world turn to the Council to learn about the U.S. marketing system, financing, government programs as well as U.S. feed grains quality and prices. Although potential and current users demanded this information, their existing website's functionality was unable to communicate its mission and content effectively to its users.

Instead of providing necessary communication to agricultural organizations and countries with a common interest, the site became burdensome and required constant maintenance from its employees. To help remove any complications for its users, the U.S. Grain Council selected BrowserMedia to assist them with the functionality of their site.

The Solution
Realizing that much of the U.S. Grain Council's success depends on disseminating volumes of important information to its users immediately, BrowserMedia redesigned their website so that it would be effortless for its employees to maintain and easy for users to navigate throughout the comprehensive site.

Due to the sensitive nature of some of the U.S. Grain Council's documents and industry news, BrowserMedia's developers implemented the BrowserCMS Document Management Module to publish the information in a secure extranet. Then to ensure the launch of the new U.S. Grain Council website was successful from a user standpoint, BrowserMedia's creative team designed a modern and interactive interface with intuitive navigation to help users quickly locate any information they need.
