When Robin Sutliff made the leap to open UltraViolet Flowers in the heart of Georgetown, she knew she didn't want it to be another corner florist. Instead, she teamed up with talented designer Rance Goff and artist Katie Burley to create a floral boutique incorporating contemporary floral design. Using their innovative approach to floral arrangements, they have created personalized and unique expressions for many clients. Their work has been praised in numerous national newspapers and magazines and continues to inspire awe from their clients at weddings and major events.

Help make UltraViolet Flowers’ website as innovative as their work.
Considering the amount of creative energy that UltraViolet Flowers puts into every floral arrangement, its online presence was lackluster and very conservative. The artistry to which UltraViolet devotes itself was not being sufficiently conveyed by their dull site design. In order to give UltraViolet a brand to call its own, it desperately needed a unified voice - a voice with passion for flowers and design.

When BrowserMedia gazed through their impressive portfolio, it was very obvious that UltraViolet's website should be as bold as their floral arrangements. Inspired by their creative vision, we transformed their site into one with bright colors and simple, clean lines that matched the level of confident sophistication found in UltraViolet's work. We developed an interactive thumbnail gallery of their work in a compact and easy-to-use interface. To further express their innovation, we gave UltraViolet Flowers visitors the ability to change both the background and imagery on their website. Using Flash-based design, the structure and flow of the site became the perfect showcase of the unique and elegant work they do in their boutique.

After their site redesign, UltraViolet Flowers has received enormous positive feedback from both their customers and their prospective customers. Instead of being "another wedding florist" they became a sought-after brand that delivered consistent "wow" with every flower petal and every leaf. BrowserMedia was also recognized for the design of the site with 2006 ADDY, 2006 Omni Intermedia, and 2006 Web Awards. However, our work wouldn't have been nearly as unique had UltraViolet Flowers not given us a great deal of creativity to work with.
