A.R.T. Design Build is a remodeling firm located in the Washington, D.C. area that specializes in the redesign of home spaces from "your dreams and aspirations" into a reality. This upscale group works with clients and subcontractors closely to ensure the utmost satisfaction in the finished product to create "real spaces for real people."
A.R.T. Design Build had a website that was functional though it failed to convey to users who they are and what they are capable of creating. While the site showcased portfolios of remodeling and design the group had produced, the photos lacked the character and branding associated with A.R.T. Design Build in person. The group needed an online presence that would reflect the high caliber of work they produce so that users could further identify the site with A.R.T. Design Build's high-end, professional remodeling techniques.

BrowserMedia evaluated the site and provided recommendations on how to restructure it to be an accurate representation of the work they do and who they are. Work on the site was directed at redesign to make it more user-focused and an accurate reflection of the firm's identity. BrowserMedia developed a new architecture and branding for the site with improved navigation and enhanced portfolios. Through the use of Flash, the portfolio was visually enhanced with clean, subtle transitions to draw further attention to A.R.T. Design Build's work. Designers also created a new style for the site with a natural and "earthy" aesthetic, signature of A.R.T. Design's remodeling work.
A.R.T. Design Build has been overwhelmed with positive feedback from users, which has resulted in new business opportunities since the launch. The softer look complemented with striking portfolio visuals and a more professional image went beyond just capturing the interest of site users; BrowserMedia won Omni Intermedia, ADDY and Summit Creative awards in 2006 for their expertise and work on the site.
